Our History
Where does this passion for fishing come from?
It all started more than 30 years ago, with a father who was passionate about trout fishing and a grandfather who was a sea fisherman. At the age of 3, I was already fascinated by fishing, fish and their ecosystems
I would even study aquaculture with the dream of one day developing fish farming structures to repopulate our aquatic environments, life being made up of choices, I would turn to business for my higher education.
Still today at 35 years old, every day before fishing days, the excitement prevents me from sleeping properly, feelings comparable to a Christmas Eve of my childhood
However, one thing has changed today compared to the customs of my grandparents’ time: Catch & Release we practice it exclusively now
Why did you create VT-Fishing ? ?
After several years as a sales executive, the dream of entrepreneurship is omnipresent, every night before going to sleep I think about what I could create or bring to the fishing industry which is dear to me
Being an adept of caps in everyday life and using these same caps to go practice my passion, I realize after having done extensive research that there is not much that honors our passion and our sport fish
The idea matured for more than two years and I came to a simple conclusion: if no one has made beautiful caps representing my passion, I will make them myself
The company VintersFishing was created to give birth to the brand VT-fishing

As a responsible and committed company, the protection of ecosystems and the environment is a major priority for the VT-Fishing brand, which is why we strive to work with recycled products, from the raw materials to the packaging
We want to convey through our products the desire to preserve our aquaculture resources so that we can continue to enjoy our passion for a long time to come and pass it on to future generations
VT-Fishing is a member of 1% for the Planet and as such donates 1% of its turnover to the protection of the environment
This commitment allows us each year to choose one or more associations and their projects to which we will send our donations
